What runs with me
Almost everything that belongs on the web.
Whether it's WordPress, Next.js or a plain HTML page: every site runs in its own Docker containers, separate from the others.
WordPress and PHP
WordPress, Joomla and other PHP applications, always on a supported PHP version.
Next.js and Node.js
Modern websites and web apps with Next.js, Nuxt, Express and the like.
Static sites
HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including sites from generators like Astro or Hugo.
Docker apps
Open source tools and your own containers, with a database if needed.

Security
Security holes don't wait.
Software gets security updates all the time. But a hole is only closed once the update runs on the server your site lives on. That's exactly what I take care of.
Updates within 48 hours
I apply critical security updates for PHP, Node.js and the server software within 48 hours of their release.
You'll know about it
After every security update you get a short email about what was updated. On WhatsApp too, if you like.
Cleanly separated
Every site runs in its own containers, separate from the other sites on the server.
Updates of WordPress itself, plugins and themes are not part of the hosting; you or your web designer take care of them. If something goes wrong, I'll restore your site to an earlier state from the backup.

Final prices. As a small business under § 19 UStG (German VAT Act), I don't charge VAT.
The first year is fixed, after that you can cancel monthly. Details in the terms.
If a site permanently needs much more power or storage, we'll make a separate offer.
Migration
Your site moves. You'll hardly notice.
The migration costs a one-off €75. If it's unusually complex, I'll tell you beforehand.

Who is the hosting for?
For private individuals, freelancers and small and medium-sized businesses who want to run a website or web app securely without looking after the server themselves.
What does it cost for several sites?
The first site or app costs €25 per month, every additional one €10, each with the same services. So three sites cost €45 per month. Most websites do fine with 10 GB and normal resources. If a site permanently needs much more, we'll talk about a suitable offer first.
How is it billed?
Once a year in advance: €300 for the first site, €120 for each additional one. The first year is fixed. After that the hosting continues and you can cancel at any time with one month's notice. Anything you've already paid for the time after that, you get back pro rata.
What's not included?
Updates of WordPress itself, plugins and themes, changes to content or design, and email mailboxes. You or your web designer take care of WordPress updates and design. If something goes wrong after an update, I'll restore your site to an earlier state from the backup.
Where is my data stored?
Only on servers in Germany, including the backups. The hosting is GDPR-compliant, and we'll sign the required data processing agreement together.
What happens if there's an outage?
The monitoring tells me immediately when your site can't be reached, and I take care of it as quickly as possible. I don't guarantee a fixed availability like 99.9 %; for a one-person business that wouldn't be honest.
Can I leave again?
Yes. If you cancel, you get your files and databases as an export and can move to any other provider with them.
Do I need to know about tech?
No. You tell me what should run, and I take care of the rest. If you like, I'm happy to explain what's happening in the background.
