I'm Nico, an IT specialist for system integration from Remscheid, Germany. I look after websites, servers and IT for freelancers, small businesses, practices, clubs and private customers in the region, remotely or on site.

What I do for you here.
My focus is running websites and servers: hosting, updates, backups and monitoring. I also set up servers, mail servers and applications, and help when something isn't working, including smaller hardware issues. I don't build large on-site networks.
Your own server
VPS or dedicated server, set up, secured and documented. You tell me what should run, I'll do the rest.
Mail server
Your own mail server for business or private use, with clean delivery (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and no subscription with the big providers.
Docker and Proxmox
Applications in containers, virtualisation with Proxmox, open source tools self-hosted.

For you and your friends, set up and stable.
Nextcloud
Your own cloud for files, calendars and contacts, on your server instead of with the big providers.
Self-hosted n8n
n8n on your server or on mine in Germany: set up, secured and kept up to date. Your workflows, your data.
Hosting
WordPress and PHP hosting from Remscheid, servers in Germany: €25 per month, billed annually. Security updates within 48 hours, daily backups.

Travel
Within the service area I come to you at no travel cost. I drive electric.
On-site visits
During the day I work a regular job, so I'm available on site on weekdays from 6 pm. That works well for a first meeting, a discussion or when a device is involved.
Remote
Once the basics are in place, most things run via remote access, phone or video call. That is quicker and works beyond the region too.
Who for
Freelancers, trades businesses, practices, clubs and private customers. As a one-person business I don't have the capacity for large companies with their own IT department.
Cost
The first call is free. After that you get a quote: a fixed price for the project or billed by the hour from €75. Hosting costs €25 per month, billed annually. As a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act, I do not charge VAT.

Do you also come to my office or home?
Yes, anywhere in the service area from Remscheid to Cologne, Düsseldorf and Hagen. On-site visits are possible on weekdays from 6 pm, and travel is free.
Do I need an on-site visit for every small thing?
No. Once the basics are in place, I handle almost everything via remote access. That saves you time and me the drive.
What do your IT services cost?

Do you help with hardware problems?
For smaller things, yes, for example when a computer or device isn't working properly. My focus is websites, servers and hosting, though. I don't take on large on-site network installations.
