Plakos GmbH prepares applicants for recruitment tests. Their websites needed to load faster, be better secured and get a reliable backup solution. I have been looking after the infrastructure since 2023.

Plakos GmbH supports applicants with preparation courses for recruitment tests, for example for the police, the armed forces, medicine and IT. The websites needed to load faster, security needed to be strengthened and a reliable backup solution was missing.
What I did
I set up a new infrastructure on a powerful dedicated server. With Proxmox, the websites run virtualised: resources can be allocated flexibly and the websites are cleanly separated from each other. A virtual firewall blocks malicious requests, and a backup solution backs up the data regularly.
Result
The websites load noticeably faster and are better secured. Since November 2023 I have been looking after the Plakos infrastructure on an ongoing basis.
Why there isn't more here
Because this is a client project, I deliberately describe the technology only roughly. The fewer details about an infrastructure are public, the smaller its attack surface.
